Unpacking the Message of Jeremiah 29:13
Jeremiah 29:13 reveals the heart of God toward His people by showing that He desires to be found. This verse was spoken in a season of hardship and uncertainty, reminding God’s people that even in exile, their relationship with Him was not broken. God’s promise to be found was not dependent on location or circumstance, but on the posture of the heart.
The act of seeking God implies intention and desire. It is not passive or accidental, but purposeful.
