Greetings,
Nothing is Impossible with God
“Jesus replied, ‘What is impossible with man is possible with God.’” — Luke 18:27
Unpacking the Message of Luke 18:27
Let’s reflect deeply on Luke 18:27, where Jesus says, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” This verse is one of the most hope-filled statements Jesus ever made, because it confronts the limitations of human ability and redirects our eyes toward the limitless power of God. It comes in the context of Jesus teaching about how difficult it is for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. The disciples were astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?” Jesus responded with these words, reminding them that salvation itself is not something humanity can achieve through effort, wealth, or status. It is God’s gift, made possible through His power, His grace, and His plan.
But this verse speaks to more than salvation—it echoes into every corner of our lives. Humanity is constantly running into walls of impossibility. There are moments when no amount of strength, wisdom, or resources seems enough. We face sickness that seems incurable, relationships that seem irreparable, dreams that seem unattainable, and burdens that feel too heavy. From our perspective, they are impossible. Yet, Jesus reminds us that what seems impossible for us is not impossible for God. This is a truth that reshapes how we pray, how we wait, and how we live.
Consider how we often measure possibilities by our own resources. If we don’t see a way forward, we assume there isn’t one. But God is not confined to our limitations. He is the Creator who spoke the world into being, who parted the Red Sea, who brought water from a rock, who raised the dead, and who conquered sin and death itself. His power is not limited to human imagination or understanding. What looks like a closed door to us may actually be an opportunity for Him to show His glory.
This verse is also a call to trust. Faith does not deny reality—it sees reality through God’s promises. Abraham is a beautiful example of this. He was nearly 100 years old, and his wife Sarah was barren, yet God promised them a child. By human standards, it was impossible. But Romans 4 reminds us that Abraham did not waver in unbelief; he trusted that God had the power to do what He had promised. And indeed, Isaac was born. This is the heartbeat of Luke 18:27: God specializes in making possible what we cannot.
Think about how this verse should shape the way we pray. Many times, our prayers are small because we fear disappointment. We ask God for things that seem “reasonable” rather than daring to ask for the miraculous. Yet, Jesus invites us to pray boldly, not because we are worthy, but because God is powerful. This doesn’t mean God is a genie who grants wishes, but it does mean He wants us to trust His ability to do far more than we imagine. He wants us to bring our impossible situations to Him and surrender them, believing that He is both able and willing to act according to His wisdom.

It also invites us to surrender control. We live in a culture that idolizes self-sufficiency, teaching us that we can do anything if we work hard enough. While diligence is good, this mindset can lead us to forget our dependence on God. Luke 18:27 shatters the illusion that everything rests on our shoulders. Instead, it teaches us freedom—the freedom to acknowledge our limits and rely on God’s strength. This surrender is not weakness; it is wisdom. It takes courage to admit that some things are beyond us, but it also takes faith to trust that they are not beyond Him.
In daily life, this verse becomes an anchor in moments of despair. When a door closes, when we receive a “no” from life, or when we hit a wall, we can remember that impossibility is the place where God often begins His greatest work. What if the very thing we are calling impossible is the stage on which God wants to display His glory? What if our greatest challenges are invitations to trust Him more deeply?
Ultimately, Luke 18:27 points us back to the cross. Humanity could never save itself. No amount of good works or human effort could bridge the gap between us and God. Salvation was impossible for man. But God made it possible through Jesus Christ, who bore our sins and rose again, defeating death forever. This verse is not just about our daily impossibilities; it is about the greatest impossibility ever overcome—our reconciliation with God.
So, when you think about the areas of your life that feel hopeless, let this verse be your reminder that impossibility is not the end of the story. With God, there is always another chapter. With God, closed doors can open, broken hearts can heal, and lost causes can be redeemed. And even when His answer doesn’t look like what we expected, we can trust that His possibilities are always better than ours.
The invitation of Luke 18:27 is simple yet profound: to live not by the limitations of man, but by the possibilities of God. To believe not in what we can do, but in what He can do. And to press on in faith, knowing that the God who made the impossible possible once on the cross is still at work today, making the impossible possible in our lives.

A prominent verse related to generational stewardship of money is Proverbs 13:22, which states, "A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children."
This verse suggests that part of being a good steward of wealth includes planning for the future and ensuring the well-being of future generations of kingdom builders.
This verse is often cited in discussions about financial planning and legacy, it's important to remember that the Bible also emphasizes the importance of giving to those in need and being content with what one has, rather than accumulating wealth for its own sake.
The focus should be on using resources wisely and for God's glory first and foremost, NOT simply leaving a large sum of generational money.
My mission is to serve followers of Christ through helping them become builders of His kingdom. Trading is NOT a get rich scheme, rather it's a skillset that when applied from the perspective of stewarding God's wealth and will first, proves to be incredibly fulfilling!

Here’s our 7-day journaling plan based on Luke 18:27 —
“Jesus replied, ‘What is impossible with man is possible with God.’”
Day 1 – Naming the Impossible
Write down the areas in your life that feel impossible right now—things that feel too heavy, too broken, or too far gone. Be honest with God about them in your journal. How does it feel to admit you can’t handle these things in your own strength?
Day 2 – Remembering God’s Power
Reflect on a time in your past when God showed up in an unexpected way. Journal about how He turned something difficult into an opportunity for growth or blessing. How does remembering His faithfulness encourage you in your current situation?
Day 3 – Shifting Perspective
Think about how often you measure possibilities by your own strength, resources, or wisdom. Write about the difference between your limitations and God’s limitless nature. How might your mindset shift if you began every challenge by asking, “What could God do here?”
Day 4 – Bold Prayers
Use today to write out prayers that feel bold and maybe even impossible. Don’t filter them by what seems reasonable—write them in faith. How does it feel to bring big, impossible requests before a limitless God?
Day 5 – Surrendering Control
Journal about the areas of your life where you tend to hold on tightly, wanting to be in control. What would it look like to release those areas into God’s hands? Write a prayer of surrender, asking God to take what you cannot handle.
Day 6 – Finding Strength in Weakness
Reflect on the idea that our weakness is the perfect place for God’s strength to be revealed. Write about a situation where you felt weak but saw God’s strength carry you through. How does this give you courage to face new challenges?
Day 7 – Living in Possibility
Close the week by journaling about how you want to live differently in light of Luke 18:27. How can you approach daily life with more faith, hope, and trust in God’s possibilities? Write a declaration of faith to remind yourself that God is able to do what man cannot.

Closing thoughts as we pray for those reading or hearing this verse today...
Dear Beloved in Christ,
Nothing Is Impossible with God 🙌
“Jesus replied, ‘What is impossible with man is possible with God.’” — Luke 18:27
What a powerful reminder that our limitations are not God’s limitations.
The situations that feel overwhelming, the prayers that seem unanswered, the dreams that appear out of reach—none of these are beyond His power.
God delights in doing what we cannot. He takes the broken pieces of our lives and builds something beautiful. He steps into the impossible and reveals His glory.
Today, be encouraged to trust Him with whatever feels too big for you to handle. Remember, your “impossible” is God’s opportunity to display His greatness.
Walk in faith. Expect the miraculous. Rest in His strength.
In Christ’s love 🙏🏻
