Greetings,
A Reminder of God’s Personal Blessing and Call to Transformation
“When God raised up His servant, He sent Him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.” - Acts 3:26

Unpacking the Message of Acts 3:26
There are verses in Scripture that catch your attention because of their comfort. There are others that stir your spirit because of their power.
Then there are verses like Acts 3:26—verses that confront you, bless you, and invite you into transformation all at once.
This Scripture comes at the end of a message from the apostle Peter, shortly after the healing of the lame man at the temple gate. Crowds were amazed.
People were gathering. Hearts were open. And Peter seizes the moment not to elevate himself, but to point directly to Jesus—the Servant of God sent to rescue, redeem, and restore.
This verse, tucked into the conclusion of Peter’s sermon, carries a truth so profound that many Christians overlook it:
Jesus is not only God’s greatest gift to humanity—He is God’s greatest blessing to you. And that blessing includes turning you away from what destroys you.
Let’s take time to slowly unpack this, because within this one verse lies a spiritual foundation that can reshape the way you view God, yourself, and your walk with Christ.
“When God raised up His servant…” — The Resurrection Is Personal
When Peter says “God raised up His servant,” he is speaking of Jesus Christ, the suffering Servant foretold in Isaiah. The resurrection wasn’t just a cosmic event recorded in history—it was a personal act of love aimed at your heart.
God didn’t raise Jesus simply to display power:
He raised Him to bring you life.
He raised Him to give you access to freedom.
He raised Him to restore your relationship with Him.
The resurrection is the ultimate declaration that sin doesn’t get to define you, shame doesn’t get to hold you, and darkness doesn’t get to claim you.
Every time you feel like your failures are final…
Every time you feel trapped in old patterns…
Every time you wonder if God can redeem your story…
This verse reminds you:
God already provided the way out when He raised up His Son.
The resurrection is the starting point of transformation.
“…He sent Him first to you…” — God’s Heart Reaches for You
These words reveal something profoundly tender about God’s nature: His desire to draw you close.
God didn’t send Jesus away from you—He sent Jesus to you.
This means His pursuit is intentional. His love is personal. His calling is direct.
Think about that:
God didn’t wait for you to clean yourself up. He didn’t demand perfection before sending help. He didn’t ask you to find the way. He sent the Way to find you.
This is the gospel in motion.
Some people imagine God as distant or difficult to approach. But Acts 3:26 is evidence that God has always been the One who draws near. He doesn’t avoid your brokenness—He runs into it with restoration in His hands.
If you’ve been feeling far from God, this verse whispers something reassuring:
Jesus is closer than you think. He was sent to reach you, lead you, and bless you.
“…to bless you…” — The Blessing Is Not What You Expect
Here’s where the verse takes an interesting turn. Most people hear the word “bless” and think of comfort, provision, protection, or answered prayers.
And yes, God absolutely blesses us in those ways.
But Acts 3:26 reveals a different dimension of blessing—one that many believers overlook:
The blessing of transformation.
God’s greatest blessings are not always what He gives to you, but what He does in you.
Some blessings:
calm your storms
provide what you lack
heal what hurts
open doors you couldn’t open
But the blessing in Acts 3:26 is different. It is deeper. It is eternal.
It is the blessing of being turned away from your former ways and invited into a new life with Christ.
This means that conviction is a blessing. Correction is a blessing. Repentance is a blessing. Change is a blessing. Growth is a blessing. Transformation is a blessing.
And often, the blessings that come from turning are far greater than the blessings that come from receiving.
“…by turning each of you from your wicked ways.” — Love Leads You
This is the heart of the verse.
Jesus does not bless you by leaving you where you are.He blesses you by leading you where you should be.
He doesn’t call you to repentance because He’s disappointed in you.
He calls you to repentance because He has something far better waiting.
Repentance is not punishment. Repentance is rescue.
When God turns you away from wickedness, He is:
protecting you from consequences that would harm you
guiding you away from destruction
freeing you from the grip of sin
restoring your spiritual sight
strengthening your character
aligning you with His purpose
It’s easy to forget that sin doesn’t just offend God—it hurts you. It damages your heart, relationships, identity, peace, and future.
And so Jesus comes not only to forgive sin, but to turn you from it.
That turning is the blessing.
It is the blessing of a healed mind. A softened heart. A redirected path. A redeemed purpose. A restored identity. A renewed future.
This is not the harsh turning of a judge—it is the gentle turning of a Shepherd who refuses to let His sheep wander into danger.
Transformation Is Not Instant—It’s Daily
Acts 3:26 reminds us that turning from wicked ways is not a one-time spiritual event; it is an ongoing process.
God’s blessing is not simply that He turned you once, but that He continues to turn you daily.
Every conviction
Every moment of clarity
Every time God reveals a wrong attitude
Every prompting to apologize
Every desire to change
Every time you feel the nudge to choose holiness—
These are signs that God is still blessing you.
Spiritual growth is not measured by perfection but by direction:
Are you leaning toward God?
Are you listening?
Are you allowing Him to shape you?
Are you willing to turn when He calls you?
If so, you are walking in the blessing of Acts 3:26.
God Turns You Toward Something Better
Turning from sin is only half of the blessing.
Jesus also turns you toward:
righteousness
purpose
purity
peace
healthy relationships
a renewed mind
spiritual maturity
intimacy with God
He turns you away from what poisons you so He can turn you toward what strengthens you.
He turns you away from what enslaves you so He can turn you toward what frees you.
He turns you away from what distorts your identity so He can turn you toward who He created you to be.
This is why surrendering to God’s correction is never a loss—it is a trade. You are trading the temporary for the eternal. The destructive for the restorative. The counterfeit for the genuine. The empty for the abundant.
The Blessing of a Changed Heart
If you’ve ever wondered whether God has given up on you… whether He’s tired of your struggles… whether you’ve failed too many times… let this verse speak to you:
Jesus was sent to turn you back—not away.
God’s correction is not evidence of His rejection—it’s evidence of His commitment. He cares too much about you to leave you unchanged.
Every time you feel convicted, remember:
The Holy Spirit convicts because He believes you can still grow. He corrects because He still sees purpose in you.He calls you to turn because He believes your story is not finished.

How Do You Live Out Acts 3:26?
If you want to practice this verse daily, here are three simple steps:
1. Ask God what He wants to turn you from.
Not in fear, but in humility. He reveals in love.
2. Ask God what He wants to turn you toward.
He never removes something without replacing it with something better.
3. Follow His lead one small step at a time.
Transformation is made of daily decisions, not dramatic moments.
When you live surrendered, Acts 3:26 becomes your lifestyle:
You hear God’s voice more clearly.
You resist temptation more easily.
You walk with greater purpose.
You grow in holiness from the inside out.
You live blessed—not by comfort, but by transformation.
You Don’t Walk the Turning Alone
Most importantly, this verse reminds you:
Jesus doesn’t just show you the direction—He walks you in it.
He strengthens you. He empowers you. He forgives you. He restores you. He guides you. He picks you up when you fall. He finishes what He starts in you.
Turning is not about your willpower—it’s about your willingness.
The Blessing You Didn’t Know You Needed
When many people ask God for blessings, they look for:
breakthrough
financial provision
open doors
healing
supernatural favor
And God gives these things according to His loving wisdom.
But Acts 3:26 reminds us of something deeper:
There is no greater blessing than a heart transformed by Jesus.
Because when God changes your heart:
your decisions change
your desires change
your relationships change
your peace deepens
your purpose stabilizes
your life aligns with heaven
Transformation is the blessing that touches every other part of your life.
Let Jesus Do His Work in You
Wherever you are in your faith journey today, Acts 3:26 offers profound hope:
Jesus came to turn you.And turning is the beginning of blessing.
If He is calling you away from something, trust Him.
If He is convicting you of something, listen.
If He is redirecting you, follow.
Every step of turning is a step toward freedom, holiness, and joy.
And remember: You never turn alone. You turn with Christ walking beside you, guiding you, empowering you, blessing you—every step of the way.

A prominent verse related to generational stewardship of money is Proverbs 13:22, which states, "A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children."
This verse suggests that part of being a good steward of wealth includes planning for the future and ensuring the well-being of future generations of kingdom builders.
This verse is often cited in discussions about financial planning and legacy, it's important to remember that the Bible also emphasizes the importance of giving to those in need and being content with what one has, rather than accumulating wealth for its own sake.
The focus should be on using resources wisely and for God's glory first and foremost, NOT simply leaving a large sum of generational money.
My mission is to serve followers of Christ through helping them become builders of His kingdom. Trading is NOT a get rich scheme, rather it's a skillset that when applied from the perspective of stewarding God's wealth and will first, proves to be incredibly fulfilling!

Dear Beloved in Christ,
A Reminder of God’s Personal Blessing and Call to Transformation
I hope today finds you encouraged and strengthened in the Lord. I wanted to share a powerful truth from Acts 3:26 -
“When God raised up His servant, He sent Him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.”
This verse is such a beautiful reminder that God’s blessings aren’t only material or emotional—they are transformational.
Jesus was sent to us not just to comfort us, but to change us, to rescue us from the habits, patterns, and sins that pull us away from God’s best for our lives.
His love doesn’t leave us where we are.His grace doesn’t just forgive—it redirects, convicts, and restores.
If God is highlighting something in your heart that needs to shift, surrender, or be healed, know this: it is His blessing working in you.
His correction is always rooted in compassion. His call to turn away from old ways is an invitation into deeper freedom.
May this verse remind you that Jesus came for you, to lead you into a life that reflects His goodness and holiness.
And He is patient, gentle, and faithful to walk with you every step of the way.
In Christ’s love 🙏🏻
