It also calls into question what we ask for in prayer. How often do we ask God to change our circumstances instead of asking Him to strengthen us for the mission? The early Church wasn’t praying to avoid pain; they were praying to endure it, empowered by the Spirit. Their hearts were aligned with the eternal mission of God. This is the fruit of a shaken room, a filled heart, and a bold voice. May we seek the same—not for spectacle, but for spiritual impact. Because when the Church prays like that, things begin to shake.
