Greetings,
His Righteousness Never Fails
“The Lord is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does.” — Psalm 145:17
Unpacking the Message of Psalm 145:17
Psalm 145:17 says, “The Lord is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does.” This verse invites us to pause and reflect on the very nature of God, His character, and how that reality should shape our lives. When we say that the Lord is righteous in all His ways, we are affirming that there is no flaw in Him, no injustice, no mistake, and no failure. He is perfectly just and always acts in line with His holiness. That in itself is a truth worth anchoring your soul in, especially in a world where we are constantly confronted with brokenness, unfairness, and corruption. While human systems often fail, and people frequently act out of selfishness or ignorance, God never does. His righteousness is the guarantee that we can trust Him, not only in the grand sweep of eternity, but also in the smallest details of our daily lives.
When we consider the second part of this verse, that He is faithful in all He does, we are reminded that God’s faithfulness is not situational or selective. He is not faithful only when we deserve it, or only when circumstances are easy, or only when it benefits Him. His faithfulness flows out of who He is. It means that every promise He has made will be kept, every act of love will be carried out, every moment of guidance will arrive right when we need it. Think of the many times in your own life when you doubted if God would come through, only to look back later and realize He had been working behind the scenes all along. That is His faithfulness on display. Even when we cannot see it, even when our prayers seem to go unanswered, God is weaving together something righteous, something true, and something good.
This verse challenges us in the way we live. If God is righteous and faithful in everything He does, what does that mean for how we respond? It means we are called to rest in trust rather than anxiety. It means we do not need to manipulate outcomes, control people, or demand our own way, because we serve a God who is already ensuring that righteousness and faithfulness prevail. It also calls us to reflect His character. If He is righteous in all His ways, then we as His children should pursue righteousness in our own ways. That means integrity in our work, honesty in our words, kindness in our relationships, and consistency in our commitments. If He is faithful in all He does, then we are to mirror that faithfulness in how we live — showing up for others, keeping our word, and being steadfast in love.

There is also a deep encouragement here for those walking through seasons of difficulty. When trials feel overwhelming, we often ask questions like, “Why is this happening?” or “Where is God in this?” Psalm 145:17 reminds us that even in hardship, God’s actions toward us are marked by righteousness and faithfulness. He is not careless with your pain. He is not absent in your struggle. He is not experimenting with your life. He is working in a way that will ultimately reveal His justice, His love, and His commitment to you. His faithfulness means He cannot and will not abandon you. Even when others walk away, even when earthly resources dry up, even when your own strength falters, He remains steadfast.
Furthermore, this verse pulls our attention beyond ourselves. God’s righteousness and faithfulness extend across history and creation. From the beginning of time until now, His hand has guided the rise and fall of nations, the unfolding of redemption, and the sustenance of all living things. The same God who keeps the stars in their place is the same God who keeps His promises to you. This should fill us with awe and gratitude, because it means our trust is not placed in a fickle or unreliable deity, but in the unshakable Lord who is both righteous and faithful.
As you reflect on this verse, consider what areas of your life you are struggling to hand over to God’s righteousness and faithfulness. Are there worries you are holding onto because you are afraid He might not act in time? Are there disappointments that have made you question His goodness? Psalm 145:17 reassures you that He is incapable of being unrighteous or unfaithful. Therefore, even if you cannot yet see the outcome, you can rest in the certainty that His ways are good, His timing is perfect, and His promises are true.
Ultimately, this verse is not only a statement of truth about God but also an invitation to deeper worship. The more we recognize His righteousness and faithfulness, the more we are compelled to praise Him, trust Him, and serve Him. Life becomes less about striving to control and more about surrendering in confidence to the One whose character never fails. To declare that the Lord is righteous in all His ways and faithful in all He does is to declare that He alone is worthy of your trust, your obedience, and your worship.

A prominent verse related to generational stewardship of money is Proverbs 13:22, which states, "A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children."
This verse suggests that part of being a good steward of wealth includes planning for the future and ensuring the well-being of future generations of kingdom builders.
This verse is often cited in discussions about financial planning and legacy, it's important to remember that the Bible also emphasizes the importance of giving to those in need and being content with what one has, rather than accumulating wealth for its own sake.
The focus should be on using resources wisely and for God's glory first and foremost, NOT simply leaving a large sum of generational money.
My mission is to serve followers of Christ through helping them become builders of His kingdom. Trading is NOT a get rich scheme, rather it's a skillset that when applied from the perspective of stewarding God's wealth and will first, proves to be incredibly fulfilling!
