This verse also challenges us to reframe our view of history and legacy. Our culture often emphasizes making our mark, being remembered, or shaping the future through our own efforts. While there’s nothing inherently wrong with ambition or legacy, this passage reminds us that it is ultimately God who carries things through. Our role is not to author the story, but to faithfully live the chapter He’s written for us.
